JOB Economia e Planejamento Ltda, it was created in 1994 and is located in São Paulo, São Paulo State, Brazil. JOB Consultores Econômicos Ltda was created in 1997, is an independent economic consulting.

Our main task is to make economic, marketing and strategic analyses on energy and agribusiness, mainly concerning sugar and alcohol. Our company also does advisory on physical and futures trading in order to attend clients specific needs.

Since 1994 the company has been headed up by Julio Maria Martins Borges, an economist with a Master degree in Economics, and a professor at University of São Paulo-USP. He has many years of extensive experience in the sugar and alcohol sector in Brazil, and for 14 years was the Head of the Economic Advisory to the Board of Directors of Copersucar, responsible for the companys economic studies, general coordination, strategic planning and institutional relations areas.

A consultant for IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) and the UNDP (United Nations Development Program), Mr. Borges has acted as a member of the consultative and auditing boards of research institutions, sugar mills, Brazilian and foreign NGOs that are involved with renewable energy sources and commodities and futures exchanges (BM&F-Bovespa).
