Frank Jenkins is president of JSG Commodities, Inc., the Norwalk, Connecticut-based brokerage and consulting firm. Prior to founding Jenkins Sugar Group in 1993, he served as vice president in the Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch in Manhattan. He started his career in the sugar industry on the trading desk of Farr Man in New York in 1983. He has served as president of the Sugar Club of New York and he speaks regularly at sugar industry events. Mr. Jenkins graduated with a BA from Boston University and lives in Wilton with his wife and family.
 
Julio Maria Martins Borges, the Executive Director of JOB Economia since 1994, graduated from the University of Brasília with a degree in Economics. He also completed post-graduate studies in Social and Economic Planning at the same University. He has a Master’s degree in Economics from the Economic Research Institute (IPE) of the University of São Paulo (USP). As a Professor in the Economics Department of USP he authored a number of research papers that were published in Brazil and abroad. He has many years of extensive experience in the sugar and alcohol sector in Brazil, and for 14 years was the Head of the Economic Advisory to the Board of Directors of Copersucar, responsible for the company's economic studies, general coordination of operational activities, strategic planning and institutional relations .

A consultant for IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) and the UNDP (United Nations Development Program), Mr. Borges has acted as a member of the consultative and auditing boards of research institutions, sugar mills, Brazilian and foreign NGOs that are involved with renewable energy sources.Formerly he was member of the Brazilian commodities and futures exchange (BM&F-Bovespa) as a commodities futures broker.
